Introduction

The following guidelines cover IT Support Services outside the PropertyBoss Client Support policy. These services are for customers desiring support from PropertyBoss professional IT staff. Prior to any technical assistance is given the client will be directed to provide payment for desired services. IT Support is billable at $150.00 per hour.

Benefits of IT Support

IT Support Services is designed to provide clients with technical support that may not have full or part-time IT staff. PropertyBoss IT professionals can log in to the desired machine and provide solutions to minimize the interruption of work flow. Using the IT Support Services can also mitigate future issues by attempting to make permanent changes to setup or configuration settings.

24/7 Online Support

A great deal of information with general setup and configuration settings can be found in Einstein Answers. Einstein is available directly on the internet and through the PropertyBoss website and software. There you will find access to

  • Searchable directory by keyword or phrase
  • Brief tutorial videos
  • PropertyBoss JobAids
  • Printable copies of the entire Einstein Answers database

PropertyBoss Software Updates

PropertyBoss updates are available via download and are provided as part of the annual subscription service (PASS). To receive the various updates per year, clients must remain or renew their PASS prior to the update being made available. IT Support can also provide assistance to clients desiring installation help with the upgrade. This is provided at an additional charge from PASS.

Web Services

Clients with websites provided through PropertyBoss will need to work with the Web Services team to update their website. IT Support does not cover these enhancements and clients will need to purchase additional Web Dev Units to make modifications to websites as needed.

Software Replacement

Clients with current PASS may receive a replacement of their current version or the latest release if needed. If a database needs to be upgraded to support the desired version requested, Client Care may need to provide assistance in upgrading the database prior to the client resuming full use of the database.

Product Training

PropertyBoss offers a wide range of training services including tutorial videos found within Einstein Answers, Web-based, Classroom, and On-site. For more information, log onto the PropertyBoss website.

Backing up the Clients Local Database

PropertyBoss does not offer backup services. However, if scheduling a backup is desired and you would like IT Support to help, our professional staff can help setup the backups as needed.
